Hackers in Demethos
So my character was hacked and all my cash and equips were robbed from me. I'm not sure how they did it because I never gave my info out. Just watch out and change your pass and pin frequently is all I can say. I'm trying to find other ways to protect myself and possibly find out who did it. They stole a maple wisdom staff, maple magician shield, tons of scrolls including glove att. scrolls, 4th job skills, and around 60m or so in cash. I'm not sure if it was the new guy in my guild but he did seem suspicious. He couldn't change my pass (which tells me he couldn't get my private info like date of birth, last name, etc.) he only changed my pin, so as soon as you can't get into your account due to your pin not working go to the main maplestory.nexon.net website and reset your pin and change your pass. Though tons was stolen from me, my character is somewhat self-sufficient and can still survive, plus the fact I hardly play it. Just trying to give everyone a heads up and maybe catch this guy. Please don't leave any of your account info anywhere, don't even relate your in game character to this if you respond, at least till we find out how he did it. Especially for you 4th jobbers like myself, I believe it is almost compulsory that we're the targets.
