If you get lucky and have some of these scrolls work, you will notice a big difference in defense, and maybe a slight difference in damage if the shoes for dex scroll works. However, unless you are an extremely lucky scroller, and are able to find many of these scrolls, it is fairly difficult to constantly receive damage from Orange Mushrooms without using event items.
